Daily Writing Prompt: What could you try for the first time?

I have been putting off the launch of a blog entitled Though My Lens on WordPress because it would mean sharing my pictures with the world at large.

I have envisioned it as a blog of pictures that I have taken or will take. This is a risk for me. I do not often share my pictures nor am I an accomplished photographer. I barely move out of the point and shoot auto mode. So putting my pics out there on the web for others to see is risky to me.

My first blog has only one small sentence and some selected pictures I took at a place I enjoy visiting. I am both nervous that no one will like what I have chosen and anxious that those pics I am sharing will not find acceptance. And, yet I know that is not true. Why? Because I like the pictures that I have chosen.
