It’s been awhile since I last posted. This is partly because of life experiences and partly because I have not made many pictures in this span of time.
The picture I have chosen to place above is of the sky one evening. The picture was taken on manual mode. It is more expressive than the ones I took on automatic, where the camera lightened the picture as if it was earlier in the day. It was sunset and dark was starting to fall, so this picture is much more representative.
I have been slow to take more pictures on manual. The photography course got to an assignment, which I failed to complete due to my inability to figure out how to submit my pictures. I was so embarrassed. I managed only to submit 1 of the 3 required, and, due to the embarrassment, I haven’t returned to the course or checked on the comments from fellow students. Nor did I offer my own comments. Turns out this class is a Master Class, which has totally intimidated me.
Will I go back? Do more of the class? Not sure. I have put the camera down, for now.
Now I have started re-learning Spanish…and trying a new recipe each week…and, falling back on my usual escape…reading.
I’m not sure that it is bad to stop on something that is causing anguish and pick up something else that brings fun and interest back. Perhaps it is healing to the soul as I have begun to think about trying again to make good pictures to share with others.
I do know that the Spanish class and the recipes are fun and give me a sense of accomplishment. And, I know that I like some of the pictures I have captured in the past.
I think I am not yet done with the camera.
