January. The time I set goals for the year…the time I decide on expenses to eliminate…the time I make plans for the new year.
I am considering these expenses: asking for a SELF and LHF refunds…Ancestry ($149/yr renews 2/28), Audible ($15/mo), this blog, Norton/McAfee, LTC insurance.
Plans: Garden – what to plant: tomatoes, potatoes, onions?, beans.
February. Decisions made thus far.
Ancestry put on hold for 2 months. To decrease the monthly, I will need to cancel the current subscription and then re-enroll. No other way to decrease payment.
Cancelled Norton. Cancelled Geek service.
Decided to allow LTC to continue for now. Option available is to make it paid up but will decrease overall $. Would like to consult with someone before I take that step as it cannot be undone.
Garden: tomatoes, potatoes and beans. Possibly carrots, radishes, onions, peppers. Have planted potato eyes and have a volunteer garlic (?) growing. Artichokes coming up. Maybe container corn. Need to get some seeds or plants ordered. Need to get garden soil.
March. Progress and status.
I transferred my SELF registration to a friend. The conference will not occur this year, and I am in doubt that I will ever really want to go to that BDSM/Leather event in the future. So…I have a friend who is younger, still interested in those activities…and who couldn’t really afford it (my opinion, did not ask her about her finances). My registration will provide her with meals, a pin as well as the registration. She will need to figure out her housing needs.
I will probably keep the LHF registration for myself.
I have decided to keep this blog and add others.
I am actively now putting new soil in my garden and planting mostly seeds…some plants. This is the time of year that I get excited and then have to wait! Oh, my. But, it is also a creative time for me…and I love it!
Good news! I have seeds sprouting! Lettuce, mesclun, and spinach. When they are a bit bigger, I will need to thin them.
