Goals: health

Started several things to maintain and improve my health. However, note that the year is only 2 days old and, thus, these are baby steps still.

1. Decided to walk at least 15 minutes for 30 days.

  • Have done this for 2 days.
  • Opened an app on my phone today: Samsung Health. Used it to track my walking progress

2. Decided to aim for 4 glasses of water per day.

  • This is in addition to the coffee, juice and other things I drink.
  • Tracking with Samsung Health app. Started today.

3. Decided to add music back into my life.

  • Have listened to country music for past 2 days on radio.

4. Decided to cut sugar.

  • Gave away all candy except for Roche, which isn’t opened.
  • Struggling with this one. Bought burnt peanuts yesterday and ate the whole container in 2 days. Second ingredient was sugar.

5. Decided to improve what I eat.

  • Baked chicken, latkes, and green beans x 2 days.
  • Big salad for lunch today with shredded cheese and toasted corn bread.
