Feeling good

I find that I am feeling good about me.

  • I am trying a new volunteer opportunity: Call for Action. It will allow me to use my problem-solving skills and to help others.
  • I have made decisions about the various groups that I am a part of,  choosing to keep those that I enjoy, stop attending others, and finding new ones that interest me.
  • I rearranged some of my person space in my home, decreasing clutter.
  • I am finishing up reading and other projects (usually small ones) that have been hanging around. Books I have started and dropped, reading challenges I began but did not finish, and books I have avoided (mostly due to page count) are now getting completed. Filing is now current. My recycling is established.
  • I am, generally, taking care of myself and my needs. I have found a new primary care MD who has decreased my cholesterol med (the only prescribed me that I take). My health is good. I will begin to look for a dentist to get back to regular dental care. I am planning on cooking more frequently to cut back on fast foods and frozen meals. So far, I have resisted the temptation to get burgers as frequently and have opted instead for home salads and other meals.
  • I have taken steps to get my financial life under control. All bills are paid and 11/12 credit cards are or will be paid off by the end of the month. The last one is at 0% interest until 2/20, and I expect to have it paid off within the next 4-5 months. My next goal is to start building up my savings account.
  • I have listed my home for AirBnB to earn an additional amount of money.
