And, four months later…

My last post was the end of January…and then, well, life fell apart. I’m not sure exactly what happened, but some aspects were: increasing L leg issues from walking,  long car trip for funeral, busy with guests, coronavirus…and just life, I guess.

I really want to get back to my new routine of walking but so far I haven’t re-started on a daily basis. I was also journaling…and that has gone by the wayside also. In fact, a lot of things I had started fell off…but I have picked up or continued others.

So…here’s now. My garden is growing: potatoes, sweet potatoes, pole beans, garlic, squash, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, brussel sprouts, artichokes, cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries, and corn. Some of these were from seed and some were vegetables that sprouted in my cupboard. My yard is looking better with some new grass growing in bare spots.

Then there is the pile of stuff needing burning, but there is a burn ban on for the coronavirus pandemic.

I still do a morning greeting on FB and have started doing a post about the blessing(s) from the day before. I have grown in friendship with several people.

I joined the Sisters of the Fly, a camping group of women. Because of the pandemic, I have not been able to participate in any events except a Meet and Greet for my area before the social distancing began. My trailer has been neglected through all this. So far, it is licensed and insured, but it is still sitting in my driveway.

I am still reading and participating with my online groups, but my concentration has suffered so that now I am reading only one or two books at a time.

Slowly I am trying to get my life back. Slowly.
